The Sparta Area School District participates in the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Program. Nutritious meals are served every school day. All meals served must meet patterns established by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.

Students may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. One family application must be submitted each year listing every child in the family. Applications are available throughout the school year from your school. Questions regarding free and reduced-priced meals should be directed to the food service department at (616) 887-1744.

  • Free/Reduced Lunch Application - paper form
  • LunchApp.com allows you to fill out an application for Free & Reduced Meal Benefits on-line. If you prefer to use this site, you will no longer need to send in the paper application and, in most cases, your application will be reviewed and a determination made within one business day. Please remember that a Free & Reduced Meal Application needs to be filled out every new school year between July 1st and September 30th.
  • Payschools.com is the link for making online deposits into lunch accounts. Deposits that are made in payschools.com will be reflected within 24 hours.
